£32k per annum. Sunday-Thursday / 10pm-6am. Deeside
Our manufacturing client based in the Deeside area are currently looking to recruit a Night Shift Trainer on a permanent basis.
Additional Training you will receive in this role includes:
- Train the Trainer Course
- Intermediate Food Safety
- Intermediate Health and Safety
- CCP Training-COSHH Training
Performance Objectives
- Liaise with training in welcoming new staff members.
- Identify and implement training needs within all departments.
- Deliver training through demonstration instructions and observations to individuals and groups (toolbox talks).
- Work alongside the Training and H&S Departments to keep staff training records up to date.
- Have an active role in quality focus and health and safety days.
- Work to implement new policies from the Technical, Health and Safety and HR departments.
- Audit areas ensuring all Food Safety and Health and Safety procedures are being followed.
- Have an active role in correct PPE usage (including the issue of and your area compliance).
- Have an active role with the commissioning of new equipment with your department.
Person Specification
- A confident individual with good communication skills.
- An understanding of Food Safety, Health and Safety and quality awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Right first-time approach.
- Ability to follow documented procedures.
- Basic IT skills.
- Ability to prioritise between tasks.
