We’re recruiting Hygiene Operators for a specialist abattoir and food-processing site in Milford Haven. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving dismantling machinery, deep-cleaning production areas, and maintaining strict hygiene and food-safety standards. Full training is provided, but you must be confident with heavy lifting, manual handling, and working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Dismantling machinery at the end of each shift for full deep-clean
- Heavy-duty hygiene work using chemicals, pressure washers, and cleaning equipment
- Cleaning abattoir lines, production areas, and equipment
- Reassembling machinery safely after cleaning
- Following strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
Hours: Monday to Friday 4pm-1am (Monday to Thursday) 2pm – 11pm (Friday)
Travel: You must be able to travel to the site independently
Pay: £13.66 per hour, £17.07 after 40 hours, rising to £14.14 per hour after 12 weeks, with £17.67 after 40 hours
