The predicted salary is between 11 - 15 £ per hour.

Pay & Working hours: Monday – Friday working weekly rotating 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 £12.98 Per Hour (Overtime Available)

Responsibilities:

  • To manufacture a range of fixings in line with customer requirements via the Setting/Operation of a variety of metal working, power presses, cutting and wire forming machines.
  • Carry out a number of secondary tasks/processes in order to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Adhere to quality procedure ensuring products are manufactured to an appropriate standard and products conform to specified tolerances and company standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and legal obligations as outlined in our health & safety and environmental policies and procedures.

  • Ability to follow system and accept / apply best practice ways of working.
  • Ability to work smartly / apply Lean Principles.
  • Able to prioritise work/tasks.
  • A self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude and works calmly under pressure.
  • Able to cope with frequently changing priorities and multiple duties.
  • Excellent attention to detail and mental agility.
  • Can effectively communicate issues.
  • Has high standards of housekeeping and Safety.
  • Logical problem solving skills.
  • Can readily acquire new skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a raw material cutting / forming environment and Operating Automatic/semi-automatic machines.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Driven, consistently hardworking.
  • Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Flexibility.
