Night Shift Laser Setter Operator (Sheet Metal) — Location: Ilford area; Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6PM – 6AM (46 hours per week); Pay: £18 per hour (overtime available); Type: Temp to Perm after 8 weeks
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Setter Operator to join a busy sheet metal fabrication company in the Ilford area. This position is for an immediate start due to ongoing projects and offers long-term stability for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC laser cutting machines to high standards
- Load and unload materials using a forklift (where required)
- Follow production schedules and ensure work is completed efficiently
- Maintain safety and quality standards at all times
- Support the team and communicate effectively with supervisors
Requirements
- Proven experience operating and setting Laser CNC machines
- Forklift licence preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent timekeeping and attention to detail
- Positive, reliable, and adaptable attitude
