We're looking for an experienced Brand Manager to take the reins during a maternity cover contract of up to 12 months.
This is a brilliant opportunity to own the brand plan, influence the innovation pipeline and deliver creative campaigns that make a measurable commercial impact.
This isn't a role where you'll spend all day talking about marketing—you'll be making it happen.
What you'll be doing
You’ll take ownership of the brand and marketing strategy, balancing big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery. Your role will include:
- Creating and delivering the annual brand and marketing plan
- Managing the marketing budget and making every pound work hard
- Keeping a close eye on consumer trends, competitors, pricing and market opportunities
- Working alongside the NPD Manager to take new products from initial idea through to launch
- Shaping product names, positioning, packaging, messaging and launch plans
- Delivering engaging campaigns across digital, email, social, consumer and trade channels
- Planning seasonal campaigns and hero product activations that drive awareness and sales
- Managing external design and social media agencies
- Overseeing creative briefs, artwork approvals, photography and brand assets
- Ensuring the brand looks, sounds and feels consistent everywhere
- Measuring campaign performance and using the results to improve future activity
- Supporting and developing the Design Assistant
- Building strong relationships with colleagues, agencies and suppliers

What we're looking for
You’ll be a creative thinker with strong commercial instincts and the confidence to take ownership. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience as a Brand Manager or in a senior marketing role
- A successful track record of developing and launching new products
- Experience creating brand plans and managing marketing budgets
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence interpreting market data
- Experience managing creative, digital or social media agencies
- Knowledge of email marketing, social media and wider digital marketing
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- The ability to manage several deadlines without losing sight of the detail
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience managing or mentoring others
- A great eye for design and high-quality brand execution
