We are recruiting for Quality Controller and Inbound operatives in Heywood, OL10 Main duties are quality control of the stock, counting and updating the stock, moving stock around.
shift available Monday-Friday or Saturday-Wednesday from 1pm till 10pm
Breaks: 1 x 30 minutes and 2 x 15 minutes unpaid for first 12 weeks, after that is fully paid.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Inbound/Outbound department runs efficiently and supports overall business objectives.
- Coordinate closely with Purchasing, Inventory, and Dispatch to keep processes aligned and accurate.
- Perform additional reasonable duties as required to support operations.
Main Duties
- Inbound & Outbound Operations
- Organise and oversee daily Inbound/Dispatch activities to meet company and customer requirements.
- Manage all delivery bookings using the Open Dock and JC booking diary systems.
- Ensure inbound products are put away promptly and meet customer SLA expectations.
- Check inbound loads for accuracy, report damage, and investigate discrepancies before escalating to Inventory.
- Verify deliveries against paperwork, flag issues, and address any trailer-related problems.
- Inventory & System Control
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of the booking-in system.
- Support management of stock profiles and receiving locations across all accounts.
- Ensure all inbound/outbound processes meet required SLAs.
- Assist with stock transfers and provide confirmation to customers upon completion.
- Generate stock reports and recommend correct put-away locations.
- Investigate inbound stock shortages or mismatches and report findings to the Inventory Department.
- Labelling, Prep & Physical Handling
- Create and provide labels for inbound/outbound stock and new locations as needed.
- Break down deliveries into single-SKU pallets when required.
- Perform routine data entry for inbound and outbound warehouse movements.
- Ensure all carrier returns (Royal Mail, DPD, Fed Ex, etc.) are processed and placed correctly for the returns team.
- Maintain clean, orderly staging areas and prepare for upcoming deliveries.
