Laboratory Logistics Technician
The Role
This is a varied role combining sample handling, laboratory administration, stock control and logistics.
You'll play an important part in ensuring samples are accurately registered, prepared and dispatched to the right place, at the right time, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and accuracy.

- Β£13.45 per hour
- Monday β Friday β 07:00 β 15:00 or 08:30 β 16:30
- Container Dispatch
- Pick, pack and prepare container orders accurately and efficiently.
- Keep the internal ordering system fully up to date.
- Monitor stock levels, restock supplies and complete regular stock takes.
- Subcontracting & Sample Logistics
- Prepare samples for dispatch to external laboratories using the visibility list.
- Carefully pack samples ready for transportation.
- Update the LIMS system and internal tracking systems.
- Monitor receipt confirmations and ensure trackers are kept accurate.
- Arrange couriers and coordinate sample collections and deliveries.
- Sample Registration
- Receive and safely unpack incoming samples.
- Register containers and samples accurately onto the relevant systems.
- Ensure all samples are correctly recorded and traceable throughout the process.
- Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Follow company processes and procedures to ensure an efficient and high-quality service.
- Carry out daily quality control checks and equipment calibrations.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Follow all Quality Management Systems, Health & Safety procedures and site protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all information is recorded correctly.
