gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for General Operative for an ongoing temporary assignment in Ross-on-Wye, HR9.
As a General Operative you will assist with manufacturing tasks and duties, as well as support all warehouse team. For those that are able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the working hours there are permanent opportunities available, after completion of minimum 12 weeks of service.
Main Duties as a General Operative:
- Items checked for damage and defects and issues reported
- Warehouse duties – stock replenishment, put away, picking, packing, inventory check
- Assembly duties
- Manufacturing process
- Occasionally spray painting (no experience required)
Working hours:
Monday – Thursday 05:45 – 16:00
Hourly Pay Rates:
Basic Rate - £12.21 p/h
Successful candidates will have a ‘can do’ attitude and be reliable. Needs to be willing to learn new duties, and keen to develop skills. Full training will be provided. Induction will be held on site.
