Financial Accountant – Wrexham (Temp to Perm)
Gap Personnel is supporting a new client in Wrexham with a Financial Accounting vacancy.
In this role you will prepare, analyse and report on the client’s financial records and provide the data needed for management to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial reporting: Prepare, present and post monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Compliance and regulation: Ensure all financial records comply with legal and ethical standards, prepare tax returns and assist with external audits.
- Financial analysis: Monitor spending and cash flows, analyse market trends and identify risks and cost‑reduction opportunities.
- Record‑keeping: Manage accounts payable and receivable ledgers, reconcile bank accounts and post accounting entries such as accruals and prepayments.
- Process improvement: Implement and improve internal controls and financial processes, continuously enhancing accounting practices.
Working hours
Monday – Thursday 9am‑5pm; Friday 9am‑3pm.
