Job Title: Electrician
Location: Talbot Green (with required travel)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM β 4:00 PM (Occasional nights & weekends available)
Pay: Β£43k β Β£48k + Β£25 Night Shift Allowance + Overtime Available
We are seeking a reliable and qualified Electrician for a physically demanding role supporting large-scale, high-security industrial projects, including military hangars and electrical door systems.
Key Details:
- You will be required to work away from home between 5 to 10 nights at a time when needed.
- A Β£25 allowance per night away from home will be paid in addition to your salary.
- All travel, accommodation, and expenses will be fully covered.
- This is a heavy work role involving manual labour and teamwork.
- Overtime opportunities are available for those wanting to earn more.
Role Overview:
- Initially, you will work closely with mechanical fitters, supporting their activities for the first 2 days.
- After this period, you will move on to electrical tasks, with mechanical fitters then supporting you for the remaining days.
- You will be part of a team delivering complex electrical installations on industrial and military sites.
Requirements:
- Valid UK manual driving licence (essential).
- Correct Right to Work in the UK documentation.
- Proven knowledge and experience using power drills and related electrical tools.
- Must have an up-to-date DBS check and be able to pass police vetting due to site security requirements.
- Experience in industrial or commercial electrical work is preferred.
Additional Information:
- This role requires a physically demanding workload and a strong safety focus.
- Occasional nights and weekends may be required, compensated with additional pay and bonuses.
- Full PPE and safety training will be provided.
