Role: Mill Process Operative
Job Term: Ongoing work with permanent opportunities for the right candidate
Location and Working Hours
- Location: Crewe, CW1
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day, 3 shift rotation: 6am – 2pm / 2pm – 10pm / 10pm – 6am.
Pay
- Pay: £14.65 per hour (training rate) with earning potential of £19.03 per hour when fully qualified.
- Shift allowance paid daily at £12.50 days & £16.00 nights.
- Regular overtime, time and a half and double time.
- 40 hours pay per week paid.
- Breaks paid.
Responsibilities
- Pack products into various bags/IBCs, from 12 Kg to 1 ton.
- Movement of products on pallets, big bags, and bins.
- Operate and monitor process plant equipment.
- Complete quality checks recording and documenting.
- Operators work within a small team and are expected to be flexible.
- The job would involve shift working.
Required Experience
- Experience of working within a production environment would be an advantage, but full training would be given.
- The ability to work day shift/night shift and be flexible whilst working different shift patterns.
