Gap Personnel who operate as an employment business are recruiting for 2 FLT Drivers.

Role: FLT Driver - Reach and Counterbalance Licences required

Job Term: Ongoing work with permanent opportunities for the right candidate.

Location: Crewe CW1

Working hours: Rotating:

  • Week 1 Monday to Friday 6am to 1:25pm
  • Week 2 Monday to Friday 1:20pm to 9pm

Pay: £15.25 p/h

Job Description:

  • Unloading of all raw materials
  • Checking and booking in of paper, reels and cardboard
  • Issue board to Pile turner – keeping presses 24 hours in front at all times
  • Carry out daily perpetual Stock Taking of all stored stock on and off site; and maintain accurate stock records
  • Ensure all outside yards are kept clean and tidy and free from all waste
  • Booking in all Finished Goods and ensuring products are labelled correctly
  • Assist in Quality Department for raising of Certificates of Conformance
  • Loading of all Outbound Goods to Customers (including Group Customers) and ensuring that appropriate paperwork is correct
  • Ensure daily checks are carried out
  • Picking up stock from outside storage (license permitting)
  • Guillotine where required board to the required sheet size. Follow Guillotine plan to ensure no break in production and any guillotine board is completed prior to and in line with Print Production
  • Pile turn loads, ensuring any damaged sheets are removed and sheets are stacked correctly for non-stop production on printing press
  • Follow Work Ticket instructions ensuring correct substrate and quantity is issued to all three presses
  • Ensure daily checks are carried out on Forklift Trucks

Required Experience: The chosen candidate must have previous experience operating an FLT Reach and Counterbalance Truck. Must hold valid licence. The role is due to start immediately for the successful candidate.
