We’re looking for a reliable Stock Control & Inventory operative to join our team and help maintain accurate stock levels and efficient inventory processes at one of our clients in Chorley. Proven experience is essential. FLT licence would be beneficial for this role.
Previous Contract: Temporary to permanent
Shift times: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Monday to Friday – rotating weekly
Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour plus daily shift allowance of £9.45
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage stock levels across all locations
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Maintain accurate inventory records using internal systems
- Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams
- Identify and implement improvements to stock control processes
Requirements:
- Must have experience in a similar stock control or inventory role
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good working knowledge of inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar tools
