We’re recruiting a reliable and experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join a busy heavy-movement industrial site in the Cardiff area. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with consistent shifts, strong overtime rates, and an immediate start available.
Pay & Shifts
- 4 on 4 off – 6am to 6pm
- £13.04 per hour basic
- £19.56 overtime (after 8 hours) & Saturdays
- £26.08 Sundays
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating 360 wheeled machinery or front-shovel loading equipment
- Moving materials, loading vehicles, and supporting daily plant operations
- Maintaining safe work areas in a fast-paced heavy-industrial environment
- Completing daily machine checks and reporting defects
- Working as part of a reliable, safety-focused team
What You Need
- Valid CPCS or NPORS for 360 Wheeled Excavator or Front Shovel
- Experience operating heavy plant machinery in industrial or construction settings
- Strong awareness of site safety, signalling, and communication
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Good reliability and timekeeping
- CSCS preferred but not essential
- Fit for work and comfortable in physical, hands-on environments
