Role Overview
Provide general cleaning services across train stations to ensure a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for passengers and staff. Work on an ad-hoc basis to support cleaning teams and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Cleaning Duties
- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum public areas, platforms, waiting rooms, and toilets
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Clean and sanitise high-touch surfaces and equipment
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in a safe and orderly manner
- Report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor promptly
General Duties
- Follow all site-specific cleaning protocols and health & safety procedures
- Work independently or as part of a team as required
- Uphold confidentiality in line with data protection regulations
- Promote and support equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Demonstrate alignment with company values and competency standards
