Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
- Load and unload vehicles safely.
- Organise and store stock in designated warehouse locations.
- Carry out stock counts and assist with inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
- Report damaged stock, equipment faults, or safety concerns.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required to support business operations.
Skills and Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
