Job Responsibilities:
- Operating slitting equipment – Safely run and monitor the slitting machine throughout production.
- Verifying materials and machine setup – Ensure all inputs, settings, and specifications match the requirements of each job.
- Inspecting finished products – Carry out quality control checks to confirm output meets standards.
- Supporting additional production lines – Operate other machinery when needed to maintain workflow.
- End-of-shift cleaning – Clean and maintain the machine at the close of each shift to keep equipment in good condition.
The Candidate:
- Machine operation experience – Background in running and setting up machinery within a fast-moving consumer goods environment.
- Print or packaging knowledge – Understanding of printing or packaging processes is beneficial.
- FLT capability – Forklift truck experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Working under pressure – Comfortable operating in a high-speed, target-focused production setting.
