- Job Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machinery to meet production requirements.
- Read and interpret job specifications, production orders, and technical drawings.
- Adjust machine settings to achieve correct print registration, slotting, creasing, folding, gluing, and stacking.
- Carry out first-off, in-process, and final quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain optimum production efficiency.
- Minimise waste, downtime, and machine stoppages through effective operation and problem-solving.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventative maintenance.
- Complete production records, quality documentation, and downtime reports accurately.
- Ensure materials and finished products are handled correctly to prevent damage.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- The Candidate
- Previous experience operating a TCY Box Casemaker or similar corrugated converting equipment is preferred.
- Good understanding of corrugated board manufacturing and packaging processes.
- Ability to read production specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Basic computer literacy for production reporting where required.
