We are currently recruiting for a Mixing & Batching Operative to join a busy production environment. This role involves accurately weighing, mixing, and batching ingredients in line with production requirements and strict quality standards.
Pay Rate: £13.01 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately weigh and measure ingredients
- Mix batches in line with set formulas and procedures
- Record batch information and complete production paperwork
- Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control
- Ensure correct storage of materials
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment
- Follow all health & safety and hygiene procedures
- Report any issues, shortages, or quality concerns
- Carry out manual handling duties (up to 20kg)
Key Requirements:
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work to precise measurements
- Physically capable of manual handling (up to 20kg)
- Basic computer literacy
- Good understanding of English
- Ability to complete paperwork accurately
- Strong organisational and communication skills
