We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist. This role involves programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines and horizontal borers, with a focus on delivering high-quality components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up CNC Milling machines and Horizontal Borers.
- Program CNC machines.
- Carry out milling, boring, and other machining operations to precise tolerances.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, including machining symbols, tolerances, and geometric tolerances.
- Inspect and measure own work using micrometers, slip gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Support the team and business operations, including flexibility to take on other duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience in medium/large milling and boring.
- Heidenhain programming experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining standards.
- Confident in Boring, Milling, Setting and Programming.
