About the Role
A well-established utilities solutions company is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to join their Warrington office. The business works on small to medium-sized projects, providing infrastructure, irrigation, and site support solutions across various commercial and industrial sectors.
In this role, you’ll manage project administration from start to finish, support site and office teams, coordinate materials, liaise with clients and suppliers, and ensure financial and administrative control across projects. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project administration from inception to completion.
- Assist with tender submissions and bids.
- Order materials and equipment for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate material deliveries and stock purchasing.
- Liaise with site teams, trades, clients, and suppliers.
- Process and monitor costs against budgets to maintain financial control.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Organise machine and fleet maintenance schedules.
- Support the Admin Manager with audits, invoice processing, payments, and receipts.
- Provide general administrative support as required.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in project administration or coordination, ideally within construction, utilities, or a similar sector.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience with Sage software preferred (training provided).
- Experience supporting small to medium-sized projects.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in creating and monitoring risk assessments.
- Strong communication skills and confident client liaison.
- Experience managing suppliers and processing orders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when managing costs and budgets.
- Full UK driving licence.
