Gap Personnel, operating as an employment business, are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Service Representative for a company based in the Haydock area. The position is on a temp to perm basis. Candidates need to have logistics experience.
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Working hours: Rotating shift pattern: Monday to Friday
- Week 1: 07:30 - 16:30
- Week 2: 08:30 - 17:30
About the role: As a key link between our customers, drivers, and partner depots, you'll play a vital role in keeping freight moving and customers informed. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling inbound customer queries by phone and email
- Proactively updating customers on collections and deliveries
- Liaising with partner depots and third-party networks to obtain delivery status updates
- Managing and resolving delivery issues with a calm, professional approach
- Logging and tracking issues through to resolution
- Building strong relationships with customers through clear, friendly communication
- Supporting the wider operations team to ensure service levels are met
