We have been supporting a leading manufacturing company in Wrexham with all levels of staff and as they have had a reorganisation within their HR Department, they are now looking for an HR Generalist to report to the General Manager - HR
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding - Assist with job descriptions, post openings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, draft offer letters, and run smooth new-hire orientations
- Employee Relations Act as an advisor to management on performance reviews, coaching, conflict resolution, and disciplinary or grievance investigations
- Benefits & Payroll Support - Support their existing Payroll Officer with the administration of payroll for temporary and permanent staff
- Training & Development: -Coordinate training sessions, monitor progress and update all employee records with training
- Offboarding: Conduct exit interviews, manage paperwork, and process departures cleanly
Skills needed
- Education - Ideally a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a generalist or multi-faceted HR role.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HR software and MS Office
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, active listening, high confidentiality, and sharp problem-solving abilities
Hours of work are Mon-Thur 8.30am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday with a 1.30pm finish on Fridays
This is a temporary role which could become permanent for the right candidate
