Job Role: Warehouse Operative - Chilled Environment
Hours: 5 out of 7 days, Days & Nights Available
Pay Rate: £13.75 - £18.72 per hour
Role Type: Temporary Ongoing
Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work within a chilled environment for a large supply chain company supplying directly into the UK's leading supermarkets.
Weekly inductions available
Enhanced bonus rates available on selected shifts leading up to Christmas
Full-time hours available
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Handling goods from intake through to dispatch
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Adhering to health & safety procedures
- Scanning and picking products
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Using modern voice-picking technology
- Working as part of a team
- Placing picked items onto allocated trolleys
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Working in a chilled environment (approximately 2-4°C)
The Ideal Candidate:
- High attention to detail
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Reliable with a can‑do attitude
