Trainee Machine Setter/Operator – Days | Telford
Hours : Monday to Thursday | 8.15am to 4.30pm Finishing 3.15pm on Friday
Starting rate £12.71 per hour
We're recruiting on behalf of our client in Telford, who's looking for a Trainee Machine Setter/Operator to join their day shift team.
If you've got some recent hands-on machine experience and want to build on it, this could be a great next step.
What you'll be doing:
- Learning how to set up, run, and keep an eye on the machine, pack and with full training
- Getting to grips with the day-to-day routine
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Flagging up any issues with quality or machine performance
- Working towards running things independently within a few months
What we're looking for:
- Recent experience operating machinery, even if it's just a few months
- Someone who's keen to learn and doesn't mind being trained
- Reliable, punctual, and happy working full time
- A good eye for detail and pride in doing the job properly
- A team player who gets on well with colleagues
