Are you an experienced administrator with a strong customer service background? We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join a busy recruitment team on a 3-month temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Recruitment Administrator, you will support the end-to-end recruitment process, including:

  • Drafting and posting recruitment adverts for review
  • Arranging interviews and coordinating recruitment activity
  • Preparing conditional offer letters and issuing recruitment documentation
  • Completing pre-employment recruitment checks
  • Arranging start dates with hiring managers and successful candidates
  • Responding to general enquiries via telephone, email and face-to-face interactions
  • Supporting and attending in-person recruitment events
  • Entering, updating and retrieving data relating to vacancies, applicants and employees using the ESR system
  • Providing a high standard of customer service to candidates, managers and colleagues

Essential Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines

Desirable

  • Previous NHS or healthcare recruitment experience
  • Knowledge of NHS recruitment processes and pre-employment checks
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and staff record systems, such as Trac and ESR
