We are looking for an experienced production operatives to join the team at one of our well-established client in Nelson!
Temporary to permanent opportunity.
Successful candidate will be invited for an interview with the client.
As a Production Operative your main tasks and duties will be:
- Operate standard machinery at a basic level - full training provided.
- Ensure the effective running of production and packaging lines.
- Complete quality checks and record results, reporting any non-conformances.
- Work as part of a team to ensure the site is always audit-ready.
- Contribute to meeting team and company-wide production targets, which make a real difference to our business and our customers.
Shift pattern will be continental shift pattern working 12-hour shifts (6.00 - 18.00 & 18.00 - 6.00) on a two-week rotation of days and nights with every other weekend off.
Pay Rate: £14.82 per hour
Previous experience working within FMCG manufacturing environment is essential.
Successful candidate will be accurate in daily tasks and duties, paying great attention to detail and open to learn new things as you can be involved in basic engineering and quality tasks.
It would be advantageous to have Counterbalance and or Reach truck licence.
