gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit a Materials Packer for our client based in central Bristol, BS1. As a Materials Packer you will ensure the accurate, safe, and efficient packing, handling, and dispatch of products. The role supports production by preparing finished goods for shipment in accordance with customer specifications, quality standards, and company procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Pack items securely in line with company standards and customer requirements.
- Ensure correct packing materials are used to protect the products.
- Label products accurately, including part numbers, batch/serial numbers, and shipping details when required.
- Prepare and process dispatch documentation (e.g. delivery notes, packing lists).
- Organise shipments according to dispatch schedules and priorities.
- Follow company quality procedures and ensure all goods dispatched meet required standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Ensure traceability requirements are met for all products.
The Candidate:
- Previous experience in packing, dispatch, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to procedures.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills (for order processing / documentation).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
