Job Role: Materials (Stock) Controller
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
Role Type: Temp to perm
Hourly rate: £13.00 per hour
As a Stock Controller, you will be accountable for material/component 1st stage inspection, distribution, accuracy, and departmental traceability. This will include internal machined parts, purchased parts and raw materials.
Job Responsibilities
- Counting, booking, and processing of machined components, purchased parts/raw materials.
- Counting, booking, and processing of outbound material for ‘Sub-Con’ operations.
- Allocation, control, issue and marshalling of materials between different work locations.
- Liaising with all departments when required. If, when discrepancies are found.
- Ability to report discrepancies, missing paperwork directly to suppliers.

- Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
- Strong attention to detail and maintain focus.
- Health and Safety conscious and attentive.
- Interest in helping to develop the departmental processes and strategy.
