We are currently partnering with our client within the construction sector to recruit a Material Planner to join their Supply Chain Management team based in Welwyn Garden City. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual to support the smooth flow of materials while maintaining strong service levels across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain inventory at optimal levels to meet service requirements while controlling overall stock value.
  • Reduce excess and obsolete stock through effective planning and monitoring.
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand future demand and align supply accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Raise purchase orders with both internal group companies and external suppliers.
  • Expedite urgent requirements and support internal teams.
