gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 1 Warehouse Operative – Reach Truck Operative for a temp to perm contract for a growing food import business supplying both food ingredients to the food manufacturing industry and finished products to the food service sector. The Client handles a wide range of food products and is expanding their operations as they move into a new, larger warehouse in Evesham.
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Warehouse Operative who must have experience and a valid Reach Truck licence to join their warehouse team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role and would suit someone who enjoys an active working environment and is flexible as the business continues to grow.
- Picking customer orders, including both full pallet and mixed pallet orders
- Scanning inventory with RF equipment
- Moving stock within the warehouse and maintaining stock rotation
- Ensuring health & safety and food hygiene standards are always followed
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Requirements:
- Reach truck FLT licenses
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks throughout the day as will be asked on occasion to come off from the truck and perform manual pick
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Willing to be flexible with working hours as shift patterns will be determined by business demand following our move to the new site
Perm contract after completion of minimum 12 weeks
Starting pay rate of £13.94 per hour

Training provided, including FLT training for the right candidate

The role would start based in our current warehouse in Evesham.
