gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 12 Warehouse Operatives for their pallets repairing operations. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable using tools such as hammers or nail guns; however, please be assured that full training will be provided to those who may not have prior experience. It is important for candidates to be aware that the work environment may be noisy.
Main Duties:
- Repairing broken and damaged pallets
- Use of hand tools
- Manual handling and lifting techniques to move pallets around
- Quality checking on all repaired pallets
- Adding nails, replacing
- Sanding
- Operating a narrow aisle
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm – please be aware the shifts are rotational and all must work both shifts - rotating weekly
Hourly Pay Rates:
Basic Rate - £13.25 p/h
OT paid after completion of 40 hours at £14.25
Bonus scheme available on achieving teams targets – once bonus achieved, rate per hour is £17.25
Successful candidates will have a can do attitude, be reliable and come with great attendance record from previous employers.
