gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 1 Refrigeration / Warehouse Operative for an ongoing temp to perm assignment in Swindon, SN3. The role would be split in refrigeration 80% and Warehouse 20%.
For those that are able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the working hours there are permanent opportunities available and you are welcome to apply after completing your 12 week probationary period.
Refrigeration will involve a training programme of the following:
- General cleaning Process
- Job ticket and complete the job tickers
- Service Checklist and able to run diagnostics
- Agitator function and electrical
- Motors and RVP function flow rate test
- Stat function
- Bath inspection
- Sanitation
- Syrup coil decay pressure test
- Ice back forming
- Understand all mechanical
Warehouse role will involve:
- Receipt of goods
- Locating correctly
- Understanding PO's
- Internal Communication - email/phone
- Stock Movement
- Intercompany transfers
- Despatching goods
- Training on UPS Portal and Inter-haul Portal
- Inventory Pick - how to read and use correctly
- Picking from warehouse (FIFO)
- Packaging
- Internal/External Communication - email/phone
- Carriage charge for UPS/Inter-haul
- Labels and despatch docs
- Understanding general warehousing
- Able to start independently working through transfers, goods in and goods out.
- How to housekeep with Inventory control
- Make a start on learning export
Rotational Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 0745 β 1630, Friday 0745 β 1400
Hourly Pay Rates Basic Rate: Β£13.50
Successful candidates will have experience working in Warehouse role. Full training is provided for the refrigeration department.
As part of the selection process, inductions will be held on site in line with their health and safety policies.
