gap personnel are currently recruiting for the role of Packing Operative for one of the UK's leading producers of POS & POP solutions for the retail sector and major brands, based in Chippenham. They produce creative, innovative and effective solutions for some of the UK's best-known brands.
As a Packing Operative, you will work in a busy packing and gluing department, where you will be responsible for:
- Packing finished products to required standards
- Making boxes and preparing packaging materials
- Completing tasks within the packing and gluing department
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Supporting production targets and daily workloads
- Following work orders and client-specific instructions
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Full training provided.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar production or packing role is preferred
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm
Overtime:
Depending on business volumes, overtime may be available on Saturdays and Sundays, paid at £12.71 per hour.
For those who demonstrate commitment, good performance and good timekeeping, there will be ongoing opportunities available.
