gap personnel Exeter are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector based in Newton Abbot, Devon. Do you want to join a forward-thinking market leader where innovation is at the heart of what they do? Delivering expertise and high levels of customer service.
As a Quality Inspector your duties will include:
- Checking paperwork and job numbers match.
- Completing Quality checks in a timely manner.
- Checking for damages.
- Inspecting the vehicle using confirmation/amendments making sure customer specifications are met and ensure it is of the highest quality.
- Repairing any issues to the vehicle and any major defects, escalating to Manager/Leading Hand promptly and accurately.
- Completing all Quality Control paperwork and passing to relevant department for product release.
- Assisting Production where necessary.
About You:
- Able to make decisions.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Previous experience with vehicle inspection and maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to identify and diagnose vehicle issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Hand Tools experience – beneficial.
Working Hours & Pay:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 0800am – 1630pm.
- £12.24 per hour.
Successful candidates will be pro-active team workers, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
