What you'll be doing
As a Food Production Operative, you'll work as part of the production team preparing and packing seafood products.
- Preparing and processing crab products
- Working on a busy food production line
- Packing and labelling finished products
- Carrying out quality checks
- Following food hygiene and food safety procedures
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Supporting general production and cleaning duties
About You
Previous food production, factory, packing or manufacturing experience would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working at pace
- Able to follow food hygiene and safety procedures
- Detail-focused
- Hard-working and willing to learn
- Comfortable working as part of a team
Seafood Environment
As this is a seafood and crab processing environment, there will naturally be a smell of crab within the factory. It is not considered unpleasant, but you should be comfortable working in this type of environment.
Hours & Pay
Monday–Friday, 7:00am until finish (normally 3.30pm)
Occasional Saturdays also required
£13.00 per hour
