Contract: Temporary ongoing
Shift Pattern: Shifts booked on a weekly basis or a flexible schedule can be arranged, any up to 6 shifts Monday to Sunday, 5.45pm - midnight.
Training: Training to be completed during day shift, flexi hours are available for the time of your training! Training will be paid @ £13.53ph.
Pay Rate: £14.08 per hour (hours up to 10pm) to £14.65 per hour (hours from 10pm).
Due to continued business growth, gap personnel are recruiting for Machine Operators - Twilight shift to join the team at Yeo Valley in Newton Abbot. These roles are available with immediate starts.
As a Machine Operator - Twilight shift, you will be helping with the end-of-day running of the production line, making sure products are made safely, correctly, and on time.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Working on the line and helping with food production
- Packing products correctly and safely
- Checking that everything is running as it should
- Keeping your area clean and organised
- Letting the team know if there are any issues
- Operating machinery once trained
What we are looking for:
- Experienced in Manufacturing, ideally Food Manufacturing
- Able to operate machinery
- Able to work well in a team
- Good communication skills
- Happy to do manual work
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous food production experience is helpful, but not essential
- Candidates must be flexible and open-minded
Training and development: Full training will be provided by Yeo Valley, with opportunities for ongoing support and development.
