gap personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join a busy and fast-paced fabrication environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with a background in metalwork and engineering to work on high-quality products within a precision-driven setting.
- Cut, bend, and form raw sheet metal materials into precise shapes and sizes for a range of products and structural components.
- Operate and maintain workshop equipment including guillotines and brake press machinery.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets required quality standards and make adjustments where necessary.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specification.
Confident using a range of sheet metal tools and machinery. Strong focus on accuracy, precision, and quality workmanship. Able to carry out manual, physically demanding tasks including lifting materials and standing for extended periods. Vocational training or an apprenticeship in metal fabrication is preferred.
Monday to Friday, 0800am – 1630pm. A reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in producing high-quality fabrication work. You should be comfortable working to deadlines while maintaining strong safety and quality standards.
