Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for technical problem-solving and customer support? Do you enjoy combining your engineering expertise with customer interaction and working on innovative industrial solutions? We're recruiting for a Technical Application Engineer to join a well-established, internationally recognised engineering business based in Ivybridge.
As a Technical Application Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting customers and the sales team by providing expert technical advice and delivering outstanding service.
- Providing pre and post-sales technical support
- Assisting with product selection, commissioning guidance and troubleshooting
- Delivering technical training to customers and colleagues
- Travelling within the UK and internationally (primarily EMEA) when required
Requirements:
- HNC, HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience within industrial automation, motor control, drives or electrical engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and industrial applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Knowledge of IEC, NEMA or other industrial standards
- Experience delivering technical training
