gap personnel Exeter are recruiting for an Assembly Operative on a temp to perm basis for a manufacturing company.
The role of an Assembly Operative is varied with duties including:
- To complete / assemble any order allocated to the post holder, to exceed both customer and company expectations.
- To ensure any tasks allocated to the post holder is completed in a timely manner paying attention to both written and drawing instructions.
- To ensure that the post holder works in a safe manner observing company Health and Safety procedures as well as company policies as laid down in the company handbook.
- To ensure the post holder adheres to the quality standards.
- To ensure that quality standards are met for all product assembled within the building.
Working Hours & Pay:
- Monday to Thursday 0830am – 1700pm
- Friday 0800am until 1600pm
- £11.60 per hour
Essential for the role:
- Keen eye for detail
- Previous experience of working within a factory environment preferable but not essential.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Dynamic and proactive.
- Flexibility to carry out a wide-ranging role.
Successful candidates will be a pro-active team worker, liaising and co-operating with all members of staff. Operate within the confines of company policy and procedure requirements, including integrity and confidentiality in respect of the business. Abide by health and safety legislation in respect of yourself and others.
