Warehouse Operative Thatcham £11.44-£12.48 per hour Day Shift (10:00-18:00) Night Shift (18:00-02:00) Gap-personnel are recruiting for day and night shift warehouse operatives for Gist in Thatcham. This position is temporary until the New Year, working full-time hours, five shifts from seven, inclusive of one weekend shift per week, and involved picking food orders for distribution to stores across the southern region. About the Warehouse Operative role: Picking food products using a voice pick system via a headset Breaking down pallets of products and allocating goods to item locations Working in a chilled and ambient working environment Achieving pick targets as set out by shift management Other duties which may include heavy lifting The successful Warehouse Operative will: Have a good attention to detail Be reliable and have a positive work ethic Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines Be punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance You will ideally have some form of warehouse experience, however this is not essential, as full training will be provided More about the role: Working hours are – Day shift 10:00-18:00 / Night shift 18:00-02:00 Day shift pay rates: Monday to Friday £11.44 Night shift pay rates: Monday to Friday £12.48
