Pay - £12.75 per hour, 42.5 hours per week

Exciting opportunity alert! We are thrilled to announce a fantastic job opening for a Warehouse Operative at our bustling Drainage Online warehouse in March! If you are an experienced warehouse operative with a good understanding of picking and packing and placing purchase orders with our external suppliers, this could be the job for you.

Key responsibilities:

  • Stock control
  • Booking in deliveries
  • Placing purchase orders from external suppliers
  • Picking/packing online orders
  • Preparing courier labels
  • Adhering to organisational health and safety policies
  • Basic housekeeping duties
  • Processing both online orders received over the phone or by email
  • Any other duties assigned by team leader

Essential skills and experience:

  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload
  • Basic English and numeracy skills
  • Physically fit due to heavy lifting in line with manual handling guidance
  • IT proficient
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Experience operating a counterbalance forklift (preferable, but full training can be provided)
  • Warehouse experience
  • A willingness for constant improvement
  • Good attention to detail
