If you enjoy building relationships, meeting targets and delivering outstanding customer experiences, this role could be ideal for you. Join our collaborative Sales team to drive new business, nurture existing customer accounts and contribute to commercial growth.
You will generate and manage sales enquiries, prepare quotes, follow up leads and work closely with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment. This role suits a motivated, organised individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in sales or account management.
Key responsibilities - sales- Selling uPVC building products to UK housebuilders and other construction sectors.
- Account managing an existing customer portfolio to ensure consistent spend.
- Utilising LinkedIn and other social platforms to identify potential leads, build relationships and sell.
- Identifying opportunities from various paid lead generation platforms for the construction industry.
- Contacting prospective customers via telephone and e-mail to win new business.
- To convert leads or prospects into sales and revenue.
- Consistent follow up on customer quotes issued to optimise quote conversion.
- Meeting with existing and prospective customers over Microsoft Teams.
- Ensuring all relevant communications, records and data are updated and recorded in Salesforce CRM.
- Working with other internal teams to help ensure that any customer issues are resolved promptly and to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Report weekly goals, objectives and achievements to management.
- Ensuring you work towards achieving company KPI’s and sales targets.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company and industry developments.
- Build lasting relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Managing own workload and time to meet the customer’s requirements.
- Proven track record in B2B or B2C sales, account management or business development.
- "Can do" attitude with a drive to succeed.
- Preferred technical knowledge of UPVC products (fascia, soffits, windows and doors).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional manner.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities concurrently.
- Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office and basic IT tools.
- Good numeracy skills for preparing quotes and managing pricing information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team, prioritising tasks to meet targets and deadlines.
- Organised, proactive and resilient with a customer‑focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence may be required for customer visits (dependent on location).
- £DOE basic with uncapped bonus or commission structure.
