Childrens Support Worker We have an exciting opportunity to join an established provider of children’s residential services at their new service in Spalding. The new home is a 4 bedroom service that currently has 1 Young Person residing there. The provider is currently looking for temp to perm Children’s Support Workers. gap healthcare will support with the registration and interview booking process. This is a full time role averaging 40 hours per week on a rolling rota. The shift patterns will be 3 shifts on week one and 2 shifts on week 2. Salary from £11.44-£12.84 with sleep in’s paid at £45 Brief Duties Description Form positive relationships with Children and provide an environment in which they feel safe and free from harm. Support Children to gain self-control by rewarding positive behaviours and challenging unacceptable behaviour. Ensuring each care plan is followed and amended as required to reflect their changing needs. Assisting Children with practical matters such as accessing the community, independence skills development, cooking, cleaning, and personal care. Support to identify and attend social and leisure activities. Providing a positive role model able to offer advice, guidance, and assistance where appropriate. Skills Required A minimum of six months experience working with Children or Young People Caring personality and nature Positive attitude and passion to help others.
