Our nationwide Non Mechanical division hires a range of equipment including crowd control barriers, scaffolding and road plates to the events industry alongside our more traditional business sectors within construction, utilities and infrastructure.

The duties of the HGV Driver with HIAB include loading, delivering and collecting hire equipment to and from the customer site in a timely and professional manner, demonstrating equipment if required and completing any relevant checks and administration involved for the hire.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record driving experience in a similar environment, and will drive responsibly and safely within the law at all times.

Applicants applying for the role of HGV Driver should have/be:

  • Significant experience working within an HGV driving role loading, delivering and collecting equipment from customer sites is essential
  • Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC with a minimum of 35 hours completed and a valid Digital Tachograph card
  • HIAB licence preferred but full training will be provided
  • An understanding of Health & Safety protocols and the ability to follow these guidelines in the workplace
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail
