About the role
The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network & Security Analyst to join our Glasgow Head Office. This is a pivotal role in GAP's Infrastructure Team and will report directly to the Infrastructure Manager. GAP are experiencing an exciting time of IT change so this is the perfect opportunity to join the growing team.
About You: Successful applicants should demonstrate the following:
- Advanced Firewall knowledge; configuration and implementation. Experience of Fortinet (Fortigate and Fortiswitch).
- SD WAN experience and knowledge.
- Strong Networking skills and knowledge including wireless networking/APs, preferably Aruba APs.
- Experience and understanding of email defence/hygiene, vulnerability management and AV tools.
- Principal technical lead on discovering and onboarding new cyber security tools.
- Main interface for GAP when dealing with 3rd parties on Firewall/Networking/Security issues etc.
- Exposure to external DNS tools.
- Knowledge of DMARC.
- Sound understanding of security certificates.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
