Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, the Head of Plant & Tools is responsible for maximising growth and profitability of the Plant and Tool depots within their region. Through effective leadership skills, you will develop and manage your team of General Managers to drive performance within each depot and identify opportunities to increase revenue across existing and new customers. Quality and customer satisfaction are key drivers for GAP Group depots and you will ensure the region's fleet is being fully utilised whilst meeting customers' expectations and needs, through quality audits and customer visits.
Key Qualifications
- Significant experience working at a Regional Operational Management level within the construction/hire industry with full P&A responsibility.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop regional teams whilst driving performance and ensuring company standards are met.
- Proven experience of exceeding sales targets and identifying opportunities for growth whilst delivering a high standard of customer service consistently.
- Sound and current knowledge of current legislation in employment, health & safety and transport are essential.
