Are you ready to bring your energy, precision and leadership skills to a fast-paced management role on one of our Major Customer sites? You will be the main point of contact in our customer site and lead a team of Customer Hire & Sales Coordinators whilst ensuring all business between the client and GAP Group is carried out in an efficient and effective manner. From driving and motivating the team, to ensuring plant is available and taking ownership of query resolution and prevention, you'll play a crucial role in delivering a first-class service.

What You'll Be Doing- Monitoring the team's performance to ensure customer requests are dealt with efficiently and in line with the service level agreement
- Driving and motivating the team to meet objectives
- Identifying training requirements
- Liaising with GAP depots to ensure that equipment is available
- Producing weekly reports for the Senior Management Team
- Overseeing any hire problems using the escalation process where appropriate
- Taking responsibility for query resolution and prevention
- Sound knowledge and experience of the equipment hire industry and associated hire desk systems
- Previous managerial experience in a fast-paced customer service role within the hire, construction or engineering industries
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- A high degree of PC literacy, particularly MS Excel is essential
