What You'll Be Doing
- Keep the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard‑free
- Clean plant equipment and store it in an orderly fashion
- Refuel plant and machinery, accurately updating fuel logs
- Quality‑check equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it is hire‑ready
- Assist with general workshop duties as required
- Carrying out driving duties (subject to licence) and assisting drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles
- Operate forklift when necessary
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment
- Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues
- Ability to work independently and use initiative in a busy environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- CSCS card, forklift licence, and driving licence are advantageous
