What You'll Be Doing

  • Keep the workshop and yard clean, tidy, and hazard‑free
  • Clean plant equipment and store it in an orderly fashion
  • Refuel plant and machinery, accurately updating fuel logs
  • Quality‑check equipment before it leaves the depot to ensure it is hire‑ready
  • Assist with general workshop duties as required
  • Carrying out driving duties (subject to licence) and assisting drivers and customers with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Operate forklift when necessary

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a labourer role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment
  • Strong team player with a willingness to support colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative in a busy environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
  • CSCS card, forklift licence, and driving licence are advantageous
