About the role
Our team is the best in the industry – is it time for you to join us? Our nationwide Survey and Safety division hire a comprehensive range of equipment including construction levels and lasers, total stations, GPS, cable detection equipment, GPR, ATEX lighting, gas detection, communication equipment and much more to all sectors including the construction, civil, utilities, rail, shop fitting, fit out and infrastructure sectors.
As the Depot Workshop Manager at GAP Group you will oversee the Survey & Safety workshop facilities and advise the General Manager on best practice and procedures required. This is vital in ensuring we inspect/test/maintain and calibrate all equipment to the manufacturers' specification and ensuring equipment is ready for hire. You will also assist the General Manager with staff development and training.
About You
Successful applicants for the role should demonstrate the following:
- Significant experience in a similar role within the survey/hire industry is essential.
- An understanding of Survey equipment, hire products and the customer base within the Falkirk area would be highly beneficial.
- The ability to lead and develop a high performing team who can deliver results and exceed customer expectations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and overcome potential challenges within the workplace.
- Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word.
